Where else does a TRANSIT agency celebrate the addition of 1000 parking spaces?? Free spots are full not because you need more parking, but because they’re FREE. Charge for them and develop walkable, mixed-use development (trip origins and destinations) that supports regional rail service all day, all week. Then I could’ve taken Sounder to the region’s big annual ham radio event 2 weeks ago. And my coworkers could take their families to events they got discount tickets to without cars.
